Choose Your Tool Geometry
Each SAG tool geometry is designed for a specific class of surface. Select the geometry that matches your component profile, then configure bond type (resin or nickel) and grit grade to suit your material and target roughness. All tools are compatible with SAG polishing cloths for optimised cutting performance.
RT4
The RT4 tool is optimised for Freeform and Convex surfaces — including Aspheric optics, turbine blade profiles, and complex CNC-machined components. The tapered geometry maintains consistent SAG contact on tight radii and sculpted profiles where bonnet tools lose uniform pressure.
